Hi all...
Can we configure the message pop up step to get two response strings seperately...
Can this be done in the existing step or should we create a custom step type to do this...

hi,
you will have to create a custom step based on the existing Message Step to do this.

Is it possible to change the existing post step of the message pop up step to show two responses. In the existing message pop up step there is one post sub step that uses dll tto show the pop up... i do not know how to edit the C code to modify it a required. Is it possible to change the arguments of the dll to show two responses...?

It might be easier for you to just create a module in LV, C or whatever you program in, that looks like the message popup but has two string controls that get returned.

Hi,

Can you use the single entry but seperate the two inputs, then parse the values from the Response string.
eg "1#5.0;2#4.5" If you identify which entry value is then it doesn't matter in what order of if one entry is missing.

No just a big stick:smileyvery-happy:
I surpose if its in the operator's instructions, then they should just follow those instructions or how they were trained.   Not Idea but it might be an easier route.
